Welcome back to the adventure. This week I attempt to photograph a group of trees along the Hollyford River in New Zealand. The light was dancing in and out from behind the clouds but I think I finally managed to find a good composition. Let me know below. I photographed with the fuji GFX100 for the photos and a Canon R5 for video and an insta360 for a few video shots.

What a wonderful surprise finding these Southern Rātā trees, I've been in New Zealand this time of year several times, but this is the first time I noticed these beauties. Keep an eye out if you visit the south island. I photographed with the fuji GFX100 and a Canon R5 for video.

In this week's photography adventure I stop to check out a little waterfall hiding just off the road and decide to photograph it. This spot was beautiful the rocks were covered with green moss and the trees created a canopy over the waterfall. It was a slow shutter day for sure. I photographed with the fuji GFX100 and a Canon R5 for video along with an insta360 for a few video shots.

Join me as I return to the South Island of New Zealand and explore a few new places and revisit some old spots all in the search of creating beautiful photographs. On this travel adventure I spend most of my time in Fiordland National Park and Mt. Aspiring National Park with one jaunt up to Wharariki Beach at the northern tip of the south island.

I was asked to participate in a multimedia art installation that included live music, comedians, paintings, sculptures and photography at a local community center. I jumped at the idea of sharing my fine art photography with others. The show was titled RAZZMATAZZ and I had some abstract colorful images from a past gallery show on the walls and stacked away that I wanted to share.

I loved my time in new Zealand and I'm already day dreaming of going back. Who knows maybe I'll be back later this year. If I do where do you think I should explore this time? Thanks for joining me on these little adventures!
